Irish Diary, Part Two

Without tradition, art is a flock of sheep without a shepherd. Without innovation, it is a corpse. (Winston Churchill)

This is a plein air watercolour done from our first B&B, near Carlingford. The B&B sits at the base of Slieve Foye and the view is from the dining nook. What an introduction to Ireland! During our breakfast, these sheep made their way down to the field just outside our table. With the mountain harbouring changeable clouds, the sun shone to start our day.
