Another late Spring morning with trees in full bloom... This idyllic country scene beckoned my brush. Alas, it has become another casualty of progress. It is part of lands allocated to become an airport, its only sin being too close to a major metropolitan city. Now mostly boarded up, and falling quickly into disrepair, it evokes a simpler time. I have always felt the need to record these scenes before they disappear. I will continue to do so.
