My wife and I have returned from a trip to the west coast of this wonderful country, Canada. When I was younger, I determined that the best way to experience it was a road trip. Eleven thousand kilometres later, it is time to put pencil and paint to paper. This is a watercolour sketch that I did on the shore of Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park (unfortunately one of the few plein air efforts that we had time for).
