Almost fully recovered from a whirlwind two day Stouffville Studio Tour. This past weekend was our 12th Annual Tour and, as always, our location was a-buzz with 355 of our closest friends :-) This represented another high point for visitors and the response was heart-warming. My China Series received a very positive response so it will be back to the easel to finish the remaining pieces.
Thanks to all who attended and provided so many nice comments and great encouragement. Thanks also to the local press and to our many sponsors. And I thank my multi-talented painter wife Margaret Grandison, our dear friend and potter Marie Messina and our globe-trotting photographer son James Wilkes whose works helped to draw the record crowds.
