Twillingate

Here’s another plein air sketch from our newfoundland trip. This is the Long Point Lighthouse just north west of Twillingate. The lighthouse has a unique milk bottle shape. Had to be careful not to back up too far as it was a high, steep drop to the water below. This area is aptly named “Iceberg Alley” although sadly, not for us this trip. Most of the ice was off the northern peninsula around St. Anthony. We have seen a lot of bergs on previous trips so have lots of reference to paint from Maybe soon...
