Putting the finishing touches on a painting trip to "The Rock" One place you just can't miss is Change Island. Located on the north coast of Central Newfoundland, it's a painter's paradise! A small island with one town that harkens back to the fishing villages of old. Many of the scenes that you see on Newfoundland"s brilliant television spots are from Change Island. I have attached a few plein air images that I painted several years ago to give a taste. The first image, Aspel's Cove is literally 50 meters from our B&B! Around every corner is two or three potential paintings, all within walking distance.

Aspel's Cove, Change Island (14" x 10")
North Tickle Solitude (14" x 10")
Paynes Cove (14" x 10")
